Omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids are both essential to human health, but you need a lot more of one than the other. #shorts
Omega-6 fatty acids can lead to the generation of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the body. Omega-3 fatty acids promote anti-inflammatory chemical production in the body.
An excess of omega-6 to omega-3 can lead to a pro-inflammatory state in the body; chronic and even acute disease have their origins here.
Decrease omega-6 by eating less processed, packaged, fried, fatty foods and increase omega-3 by increasing fish, nuts, and seeds in your diet.
An omega-3 supplement is a great idea as well to keep inflammation down.
