The Proboscis Monkey is a unique primate native to the rainforests of Borneo. It's easily recognized by its large, distinctive nose, which is more pronounced in males. These monkeys have reddish-brown fur, long tails, and pot-bellied bodies. They are excellent swimmers and often found near rivers or mangrove forests. Proboscis Monkeys mainly eat leaves, fruits, and seeds. They live in groups led by dominant males and communicate through various vocalizations.
