Programs used:
Cinema 4D for modeling and animation
Movie Maker for editing the speedart footage (After Effects couldn't handle those files)
After Effects for editing the speedart and for color correction, lens flares etc.
I also tried making some fancy smoke with plugin called TurbulenceFD for Cinema 4D and a lens flare with Photoshop but didn't think they look nice.
