So now I'm adventuring through the worlds and levels of Super Bomberman 2, called Zone 2. After playing up to Super 5, I feel like Super 2 still has the most-unique and fleshed-out 1-Player experience out of all of the first 5 Super Bomberman games. It was such a 1-Player experience the its design wouldn't even allow it to be played with 2 players.
Its unique composer was brought just to remix the music for Super 2, which will be heard in every Zone 2 level. Its art style is also kept in place for its levels and enemies, which is still similar to Super 1's art style but with more detail, but it all still somewhat clashes with Bomberman's own sprites in this game as he's now evolving from the more cartoony cel-shaded styles of Super 3 & 4.
However, the Super 2 levels sadly got a bit butchered in Super 5. These levels were unique in that they could stretch out longer than a single screen would be able to hold, allowing you more freedom to "explore", per-se, as you got further through the game. Super 5's recreation of Super 2's levels gets rid of this feature and keeps each of their levels on single screens that offer no scrolling to get through them, keeping them all very small in the process. For the most part, though, the gimmicks within these levels are kept.
----------
ZONE 2-01
- Enemies: 2 Magne-Hells, 2 Mr. Moais
- Power-Ups: Fire, Invincibility Jacket
- Exits to: 2-02 (Bottom-Left)*, 2-Bottom-Right)
ZONE 2-02
- Enemies: 3 Magne-Hells, 2 Mr. Moais
- Power-Ups: Roller Skates, Bomb Kick, 1-UP
- Exits to: 2-04 (Left), 2-07 (Right)*
The two levels I go through here are based on the medieval-based settings of Magnet Bomber's battleship in Super 2. Those red boosters return to amplify the explosion of your bombs. The dynamite also returns, and blowing it up still covers a dangerous explosion range that a single bomb isn't capable of.
Remember, those Hell Magnets can really... attract you to them.

Follow the map I provided below to keep track of the levels I've gone through so far. By the end of this video, I've beaten the red 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 11, and A1, then the yellow 1 & 2. I'm now about to continue onto the yellow 7.
