This week’s video is inspired by my summer rose garden, wanting to learn some art history of roses and botanical painting for fun (as you do), and also because I’m re-reading Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll and feeling in the studio sometimes like I’m one of the queens gardener’s ‘painting the roses red’ symbolically standing at a white rose (or canvas) and am utterly clueless…
