Olive-backed Sunbird (Cinnyris jugularis) is a species of sunbird found from Southern Asia to Australia. It is also known as yellow-bellied sunbird. Adult Olive-backed Sunbird are primarily nectivorous. However, they do eat an insect or both especially around breeding season when little extra protein is helpful. The young are feed insects by their parents while fledging. Wherever there is a plentiful supply of flowering plants, you'll find these beautiful little birds darting about feeding nectar.
