Hey Guys! Even those people who have barely heard about Buddhism at all have at least heard about the idea of rebirth.
Rebirth or often wrongly called ``reincarnation'' is indeed a central paradigm in Buddhism but people, at least in Germany get it all backward.
The goal in Buddhism is NOT to be reborn but to ESCAPE the eternal cycle of rebirth and death.

Modern rebirth beliefs are based on unverifiable assumptions about things we can never know.
We have wrong views about what we/humans are.
Rebirth only starts making sense when we undo those views.
Nothing is external to subjective experience and self is reborn within the aggregates based on past Kamma.
