Once notorious for its strict one-child policy, China is now pushing women to have more babies. Introduced in 2016, the two-child policy has so far failed to create a much-needed baby boom. Beijing is now worried that having one of the lowest birth rates in the world will undermine its efforts to stimulate the economy. But some Chinese women are frustrated with what they describe as government interference in their personal lives. Our correspondents report.
