Luke reads an article from CNN which explains how new evidence suggests that Palestinian-American Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh was killed in a targeted attack by Israeli forces. A colleague of Abu Akleh described the press’s protocol which clearly identifies them as members of the press to the Israeli defense forces. Moreover, Abu Akleh’s death is the latest in a long history of deaths of Palestinian journalists at the hands of the IDF, and will likely be far from the last so long as the US continues to provide weapons and aid to the apartheid Israeli state.
