Who is Ada Ehi?
Ada Ogochukwu Ehi, better known by her stage name Ada Ehi, is a Nigerian gospel artist. She has become a sensation in the music scene, having released five studio albums since her debut in 2011. Ada’s music has been well-received globally, with her albums having gained millions of streams.
Early Life and Career Beginnings
Ada was born on October 10th, 1985 in Lagos, Nigeria. She began singing in church at an early age and soon developed an affinity for music. In 2011, she released her debut album Lifted and it quickly became popular across Nigeria and beyond. Following its success, she went on to release four additional albums over the next decade: Rejoice (2012), Undo (2016), Future Now (2018), and Born of God (2020).
Accolades
Ada has won several awards for her work in the music industry including the Nigeria Entertainment Awards for Best Female Gospel Artiste of the Year (2012) and Best Music Video of the Year (2013). She’s also been nominated for multiple awards from organizations like The Headies and All Africa Music Awards.
Ada Ehi was selected as an “Honouree” for the 12th edition of the African Achievers Awards (2022), she received a BEFFTA NOMINATION for Best International Gospel Act, Best Female Artiste in African Inspirational Music at the AFRIMA, WINNER – Groove Awards 2017 ‘Western Africa Artist Of The Year’, WINNER- LIMA Song Writer of the Year and Song of the Year in 2017, tagged one of the 100 Influential Christian Personalities in Nigeria according to YNaija’s list (2017), Six nominations at the Maranatha Awards USA including The Best Female Minister (Africa) and Song of the Year (Congratulations) in 2021.
Ada Ehi was also nominated for Song of the Year (Inspirational) at the prestigious AFRIMA Awards 2021, Best Female Artiste in African Inspirational Music at the All Africa Music Awards and Best Gospel Artist at the 7th African Entertainment Awards USA, both in 2021 and awarded a gold plaque by YouTube having surpassed the 1 million subscribers mark.
Ada Ehi has also been featured on the world-acclaimed THE RECORDING ACADEMY ‘GRAMMY’ for a live performance of her hit single ‘Congratulations’ which has over 70 million streams and over 317 million views on YouTube.

Philanthropic Work
