HOW TO PAINT A BABY CHICK IN WATERCOLOR with Suzanne Barrett Justis
In this real time watercolor painting tutorial, I will take you step by step in painting a baby chick.
I will take you from start to finish from loose pencil sketch, through the wet on wet process that creates the fuzzy soft edges to the dry brush detail that is created in the end. This chick took me about 30 minutes to create . It's fun to use different mediums than you are used to using and this video is a great exercise in loosening up. We will concentrate on creating form with values while still keeping a soft hand. This step by step for beginner as well as advanced painter watercolor tutorial should be enjoyable for everyone who enjoys fine art.
The materials that I used were
Cold Pressed Finish 140lb 6 x 6 paper
