In the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, Bhumare Sandipanrao Asaram of the Shiv Sena won the Aurangabad constituency, securing 476,130 votes, which accounted for 36.56% of the total votes cast.

He defeated his nearest rival, Imtiaz Jaleel Syed from the AIMIM, who received 341,480 votes (26.22%). The voter turnout for this election was recorded at 63.03%.

Bhumare's victory margin was 134,650 votes, marking a significant win for the Shiv Sena in a constituency that has seen competitive races in previous elections.

The Aurangabad Lok Sabha seat includes six assembly segments: Kannad, Aurangabad Central, Aurangabad West, Aurangabad East, Gangapur, and Vaijapur.
