The report deep dives into the digital economies of SEA, what is driving the Internet economy forward, and the challenges to consider. This is the fifth year Google has published the e-Conomy SEA report, working together with Temasek and Bain & Co.
The Internet economy remains resilient at US$ 100BN even in the face of a global slowdown. But all sectors of the digital economy were not impacted equally: e-Commerce, online media and food delivery adoption and usage have surged while transport and online travel have suffered.
