Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on Thursday said that his party has a 'natural claim' and 'right' to the post of the deputy speaker in the Lok Sabha. Amid rumours of the BJD being in the race for the post, Raut said that the party had opposed the NDA in the recently concluded Lok Sabha polls. The Sena-BJP combine had secured 41 of 48 Lok Sabha seats in Maharashtra in the polls.
