The fifth episode of a documentary depicting Xi Jinping's poverty reduction efforts was aired on the China Global Television Network (CGTN) on Thursday.
Outlines of the fifth episode "A Leaf That Alleviates Poverty" are as follows:
A leaf has turned a poverty-stricken village in east China's Zhejiang Province into a tea garden. The village's turning point was the 2003 visit of Xi, then a provincial official who placed poverty alleviation at the heart of his political work.
