The Varoma has many different functions. You can steam veggies, fish and meat.
You can bake, use it as a sieve to strain pasta or to wash salad.
And you can cook on multiple levels, here we show how to steam salmon over soup.
Multi-level cooking, Salmon over soup:
•Place soup ingredients in the Mixing Bowl. •Chop, sauté, then add the remaining ingredients to Chop and add water, follow the instructions on the screen.
•Whilst the soup cooks, prepare the vegetables and fish.
•Place vegetables in the Varoma dish.
•To catch the salmon juices, you can line the Varoma tray with baking Mixing Bowl. paper.
•Trace around the Varoma tray and cut along the line, wetting the baking paper helps it stick to the Varoma tray.
•Make sure to leave some holes on the sides of the Varoma tray so that steam can circulate whilst cooking.
•Insert the Varoma tray with fish on top of the Varoma dish and transfer to sit on top of the Mixing Bowl, pop the Varoma lid on top and steam using the Varoma temperature. •Open the Varoma lid away from you to prevent steam from flowing to your face. •Use the Varoma lid to catch drips.
