In this video, I show you how to install a lift on your 3rd Gen 4runner (96-02). The process is very similar to the FJ Cruiser and newer 4Runners. I decided on a new lift after my cargo and fridge started weighing down the back too much and causing positive rake. I also plan to go 33s or 34s in the future so I decided to pull the trigger on a new lift. I'm running 265/70/r17 (32") currently.
Total Lift: Front should be 3" lift and rear should be 3-4" lift depending on weight.
Lift Parts:
Shocks:
4Runner Bilstein 5100s - Part Number: Front 24-248730 and Rear 24-249966

NOTE: I recommend you get Land Cruiser rear shocks and not the Bilstein for ultimate flex. They are cheap brand new! Part Number: 48531-69417 from any toyota dealer

Front Springs:

Rear Springs:
The Land Cruiser front springs fit in the rear of these 4runners. You can find these at a junkyard or try some online sites like [ Ссылка ]. Now they did get my order wrong but you can try to ask them for the colors you want but it's a gamble.
Driver Rear Land Cruiser 8 wrap (Purple Green White) - 19.5"
Passenger Rear Land Cruiser 7.5 Wrap (Double Pink, Light Blue, White) - 19"
You can also try OME 861 instead. [ Ссылка ]
