Sarah, from Upstate New York, and Matt, from the United Kingdom, first crossed paths on the breathtaking Laugavegur Trek in Landmannalaugar, Iceland. Despite the miles between them and the challenges of long-distance love, their connection was instant and undeniable.

Their story began on the trek, but they only completed half the trail during their first meeting—a fitting metaphor for the start of their journey together. Returning to Iceland to elope and finish the trail hand-in-hand, Sarah and Matt brought their love story full circle, turning their shared adventure into a lifelong promise.

It was an honor to capture such an intimate and deeply meaningful day in one of the world’s most awe-inspiring landscapes.
