School had just let out. Several school buses loaded with children got to wait for a fast, heavy grain train on Norfolk Southern mainline! Southern Railway use to operate this route owned by the city of Cincinnati. School buses cross this busy mainline railroad all the time! This dangerous level railway crossing is near schools in this urban setting near Cincinnati. This railroad is leased to NS and is a huge source of income to Cincinnati Ohio. Council members recently foolishly considered selling this CNOTP Rathole Line to Norfolk Southern for quick cash. Intelligence prevailed and they wisely decided to keep the line. My brother is a school bus driver and I thought of him when I filmed this on November 11, 2015 in Erlanger Kentucky. This fast train had 81 freight cars! Thanks for watching! I appreciate every view!
