The 31st edition of the San Diego Latino Film Festival is set to run from March 14-24 — and tickets are still available for purchase.
Organizers ignite the start of the festival with a special advance screening of A24's PROBLEMISTA, directed by Julio Torres.
Attendees of the 10-day festival can expect to be immersed in a diverse array of narratives and voices through the transformative power of cinema. They'll also have the rare opportunity to meet filmmakers and actors from across the world. More than 120 films are expected to be featured during the 10-day event.
The festival will present over 60 programs from Latin America and the United States with opening and closing night parties, as well as the annual food, beer and spirits fest Sabor Latino.
The festival started 31 years ago as a student film festival that focused on Latino works and the Latino experienced but has since evolved into one of the larger and most-respected Latino film festivals around the world.
The event has had over 350,000 attendees since its fruition and over 4,000 films have been screened.
