This is a locally penned love song which charts one man’s attempt to woo the heart of a young woman. The song was written by John Barry and relates his desire to take this young woman from the town of Kilmacthomas back to his townsland of Caheruane near the village of Kill.

The project was commissioned by The Heritage Office of Waterford City and County Council and was launched in Kilmacthomas Primary School in June 2017. These films were originally recorded and produced on DVD by Michael Fortune.
