We hope you enjoy Ketturah interpretation of a mandrake from Harry Potter.
For the base/body I used tinfoil and then covered it with an Eva foam clay. Let it sit for 48 hours then I sealed it with couple of coats of Plaid FX primer. After that was dry I started putting down some base colors of acrylic paint working light to dark. Then I went over the whole mandrake with a brown wash to pop out the details. For the hands I used twine and glue to get the desired look and then gave it wash in dark brown paint so they would match the body better. For the leaves I used 3mm foam, which was cut into the desired shape and then painted them. Once they were dry I stuck a floral wire through the middle so they would be flexible after I placed them on the mandrake.
