Our first time skiing at Whakapapa, which may very well be the finest ski field in the north island! The long queues and wait times are the only drawbacks.

Please show grace - I am only a beginner skier! We only managed 6 runs because it was packed.

Enjoyed the scenic drive from base to summit, and the snow conditions were second to none. There was a massive dump just the day before which closed the ski field while grooming and maintenance work continued. Apparently some of the best snow we've seen in years!
