Temperatures above average but not record-setting today.
With some sunshine and a nice southerly breeze to start, we'll be propelled to summery top temps today. Highs will reach into the low and mid 80s around Northeast Ohio. You'll probably notice the humidity climbing too.
A storm system to the west is getting better organized and will keep brisk wind in our forecast for today.
This evening, some pop-up storms will be around ahead of better chances for rain and rumbles after dark. While severe weather is not anticipated, gusty wind and heavy downpours will be possible with any storms that do rumble in.
Scattered showers will linger into Tuesday until the cold front clears the area, which will likely be mid to late afternoon.
Nothing major coming in the next 7 days. Temperatures will trend back to near average (upper 70s this time of the year) with on and off rain chances.
Enjoy!
