Cash is certainly important, but in the economic system we live in, a strong credit profile is paramount if you ever want to borrow money for any reason at some point.
Holding huge amounts of cash is also not financially wise especially during periods of high inflation as that money will quickly become less valuable.
And of course, although we do not, many dealerships will make it more difficult to do business with them if they believe you are a cash buyer. It is an unfortunate reality of the industry.
