Power supply in 6 districts will be disrupted or shut down from October 24 to November 26 as informed by the state power department. In view of the jungle clearance and maintenance programme of 33KV lines power supply in Kohima, the town will experience intermittent disruption starting from October 24 to November 5 between 8 am to 3 pm. The department has informed that the jungle clearance is being initiated to avoid disruption and to facilitate stable power supply. The department also informed that it will try to minimize the total shutdown. Power disruption will affect Southern Angami area Kohima from October 24 & 25; Northern Angami area Kohima from October 26 to November 5; Zubza and Lalmati area from October 26 to October 29; Chakhabama & Chozuba area from October 31 to November 1. Mokokchung will witness power shut down from October 24 to November 26 daily from 8 am to 4 pm. Moreover, Zunheboto district will be affected from October 24 to 29; Tuensang district will be affected from October 31 to November 5; Tuli sub-division under Mokokchung, Longleng and Mon districts will be affected from November 14 to 19
