Sparhawk School is a PreK-12 grade school with two beautiful campuses in Amesbury MA. Sparhawk’s educational philosophy is based on students learning through authentic real-life experiences. This is often called experiential education and takes many forms for us here at Sparhawk. As a progressive school this methodology evolves every year as does our understanding of brain science and best practice.

For our youngest learners experiential education is often found in the forms of play-based learning, place-based learning or nature-based learning.

For older students this takes the form of Project Based Learning. This has been embedded in Sparhawk’s approach since our inception.
