My full Blake Brown Beauty review 👇
I tested Blake Lively’s new hair care line for a week and these are my honest thoughts!
Overall, I will be keeping some of these products in rotation. My favorite thing about this line is the smell. I LOVE warm, earthy scents and it does linger for days. My boyfriend (unprompted and not knowing I was trying this!!) did ask me what I was doing differently to my hair because it smelled so good 💁♀️ If you are sensitive to scents, this is probably not for you.
PRE-SHAMPOO MASK
- I didn’t feel like this did much for my hair. Not a must have IMO
SHAMPOO
- This is where the scent is the strongest. The packaging is a bit clunky but I can get over that. It lathered really nicely and my hair felt very clean. It didn’t dry greasy which is always a concern with new shampoos.
MASK
- The first time I used this product, I didn’t use enough and my ends did feel dry. I took a more generous scoop the second time and definitely noticed a difference. My hair was easy to brush through after I got out of the shower, which is a major win for me!
GLAM MOUSSE
- This didn’t feel sticky and did not make my hair feel crunchy which is great but it didn’t add a lot of volume either. It also wasn’t the best at keeping down my flyaways when I tried a slick back look.
DRY SHAMPOO
- This should be called a texture spray, not dry shampoo. I rated this as a texture spray because it does add a good amount of volume and grit (perfect for styling and updos!) However, if you’re looking for that “I just cleaned my hair” feeling, this isn’t it.
Have you tried any of these hair products?? What were your thoughts?
