The apartment is located in the historic Placa de Sant Miguel, in the Barrio Gotico, at the very heart of medieval Barcelona.
The streets in this neighbourhood are often narrow and dark, but this building is in an enviable location, providing the 4th floor apartment with excellent exposure to natural daylight.
Anke and her husband John renovated the apartment to create open space and rooms that flow into one another, while taking advantage of original assets like the existing brick walls and exposed beams.
To furnish the living area, Anke chose an Andersen Slim sofa upholstered in ecru fabric, paired with its namesake ottoman and Aston armchairs upholstered in Macro Melange fabric.
The marble-topped Neto dining table is surrounded by Aston small armchairs upholstered in stylish diamond-patterned Ohara fabric.
