Vera Daves de Sousa, Angola's 35-year-old Finance Minister who was formerly a regular TV commentator. She is Angola's first female Finance Minister of Angola, Africa's second-biggest crude producer.
Freweini Mebrahtu was named the 2019 CNN Hero of the Year. She was awarded for her dedication to keep girls in school by designing a reusable menstrual pad and trying to end the cultural stigma around the issue.
Zozibini Tunzi of South Africa has crowned Miss Universe for 2020! Many missed the meaning behind Miss South Africa Zozibini Tunzi's national costume during the Miss Universe pageant. She says her costume was inspired by one of her final questions before she won Miss South Africa in August.
