Back here in Seoul, a British man was arrested by police on Monday morning after attempting to climb Lotte World Tower, the world's fifth-highest building, without any ropes or safety equipment.
The man, identified as 24-year-old George King-Thompson by local media outlets, managed to ascend more than halfway up the one-hundred-and-23-story skyscraper before being apprehended.
He was eventually forced by police and firefighters to get into a maintenance cradle and enter the building upon reaching the 73rd floor.
He's been taken into custody for questioning.
According to British media reports, King-Thompson was jailed for free-climbing London's 72-story Shard building in 2019.
