Tirgan celebration of Isfahan
One of the beautiful celebrations of Isfahan (which, of course, was similar in some other places in the country) was the Abrizan celebration or the Tirgan celebration in the Safavid period, which is unfortunately almost have been forgotten these days.
In this celebration, with a public announcement, the men wore old and short clothes and fell into the Zayandehrud, and the women on the Sio-e-Se bridge watched as they sprinkled water on each other with copper and brass dishes. And sometimes they even threw the dishes at each other! This sometimes led to quarrel!
