A presentation by Miriam P. Cotler, PhD given on September 8, 1990 at Loma Linda University. Dr. Cotler discusses the need to describe and measure quality of life at multiple life stages. She also discussed the importance of the external environment for quality of life including environmental protections and access to transportation, among others, since the elderly have limited financial and physical mobility. Finally, she discussed results from multiple studies on the desires of elderly patients and differing definitions of quality of life.
Unfortunately, Dr. Bennett's response was cut short on the original tape and therefore not included in this video.
