A US politician was caught pouring cups of water into her colleague’s bag in a campaign of “torment” that lasted for months.
Mary Morrissey, 67, has since apologised for her “unbecoming” behaviour and admitted to targeting Jim Carroll for five months.
Mr Carroll said his bag had been drenched a couple of times a week in January, increasing to almost every day in February.
“It was torment,” he said.
Suspecting it was Ms Morrissey, the 62 year-old set up a secret camera in April behind a scarf in the cloakroom where he left his green tote bag.
On two occasions, it captured Ms Morrissey pouring a glass of water into the bag.
