Security detained a fan who ran onto the field at DRV PNK Stadium in an attempt to reach Inter Miami star Lionel Messi after he was subbed off Tuesday against Atlanta United.

The fan sprinted across the width of the field before being intercepted right in front of Miami coach Tata Martino’s technical area. Messi, playing in his second match with Inter Miami, was walked off to a standing ovation in the 78th minute after scoring two goals and assisting on one during his side’s 4-0 Leagues Cup win.
