Indore Style Grated Corn Snack | Bhutte ka Kees is a famous street food from Indore (Madhya Pradesh, India). This grated corn snack is a quick, easy and delicious recipe.
Ingredients:
Corn cob - 4
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard seeds - 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds (Jira) - 1/4 tsp
Few Curry Leaves
salt as per taste
Chopped green chilies - 4/5
small chopped onion - 1
Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
Chopped coriander for garnishing
grated coconut for garnishing
This recipe takes approximately 30 min for cooking and perfect for 2-3 people. I have not added sugar in this recipe as American corns are sweets in taste. But if you are using other corn then you can add sugar for little sweet taste.
When corn is in season, then don't forget to try this recipe with the fresh corn cobs.
If you are using frozen corns then you need to add little milk while cooking to avoid dryness in cooking.
