The webinar, hosted on April 28 2022 by the Avalon Sexual Assault Centre as part of our activities for the Sexual Assault Month. The webinar provided an overview of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDA's) and their misuse in sexual violence cases, as well as the harmful trauma impacts of NDA's on a survivor's healing journey.

Our guest speaker was Dr. Julie Macfarlane, Co-founder of Can't Buy My Silence and Author of Going Public- A Survivors Journey from Grief to Action.

Other speakers included, Kristina Fifield (Avalon Trauma Therapist), Dee Dooley ( Community Educator and Gender Based Violence Advocate) and Sarah MacGillivray ( Avalon Legal Advocate Coordinator).
