The officials of the National Investigation Agency (NIA) are conducting searches at multiple locations in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry in connection with its ongoing investigation linked to a terror activity case. The NIA sleuths conducted searches at one place - Karaikal in Puducherry and two places - Mayiladuthurai and Chennai - in Tamil Nadu. The National Investigation Agency took over the cases afgter suspects threatened polie officer during a vehicle check after finding a suspected ISIS link.
