Gauteng Health MEC Nomantu Nkomo-Ralehoko has expressed concern at the increase in the number of medical emergencies in the province this festive season.
Nkomo-Ralehoko was visiting the Gauteng Emergency Medical Service operations centre in Midrand north of Johannesburg to assess medical emergency responses since the beginning of the festive season.
She says their teams are fully prepared for any eventuality.
