The NOYC or the Northern Ohio Youth camp is so much more than a youth camp. Now for over a decade the NOYC has provided a ministry which brings young people and adults alike closer to Christ. Over the past 10 year the NOYC has witnessed as a generation of young people have sincerely sought and surrendered to the Lord and His will for their lives.
The Northern Ohio Youth Camp is a unique camp experience in that we not only enjoy a ridiculously fun week of great games, summer sports, and ever entertaining moments – but daily our attendees are continually challenged spiritually as well.
Each day of camp our attendees will enjoy 3 great homecooked meals plus a snack, two devotion classes, 4 prayer stations, 2 sports, wacky games, a craft, the Amazing NOYC Race, music class, and of course an out-of-this-world camp worship service.
Beyond the daily activities of camp, the NOYC also provides several specialty events to look forward during the week such as the mesitval featuring 300+ lbs of slime, the one of a kind NOYC escape room, the nerf war arena, as well as kiddy pool kickball, pizza party, and many other fun spectacular surprises along the way.
The Northern Ohio Youth Camp welcomes youth of all ages by offering a youngster team and daycare for those under the age of 6, pre-teen teams for those 7-12 years old, and teenage teams for those 13 years of age and older. Once at camp, our youth campers will be placed onto a team of their peers under the supervision of 2 or more camp counselors.
Adults are of course greatly welcomed as well and may choose to either join a team as a camper or counselor or volunteer as a member of the NOYC staff for the week. All of our staff volunteers are enabled with voluntary staff training to assist in preparing them for the best experience possible while at the NOYC.
It would be difficult to find staff who are more friendly and helpful than at the Northern Ohio Youth Camp. The NOYC offers around the clock security staff as well as a staff of registered nurses at all times. Beyond this the administrative staff go above and beyond to ensure the needs of each attendee are provided for and to make sure each person feels right at home.
The NOYC calls the beautiful rolling hills of Warsaw, Ohio home at the Warsaw Retreat Center. The retreat center is located on 14+ acres of secluded camp land with beautiful scenic views of southern Ohio. The entire facility at the Warsaw retreat center is air conditioned and well maintained. Sleeping quarters feature dorm style rooms, private cottages, motel style rooms, and even RV and camper hook ups.
The Northern Ohio Youth Camp 2021 will be held on June 14th - June 17th. Each attendee is required to register at www.thenoyc.com by May 2nd 2021. A registration fee of $100 per person will be required. The camp fee covers room, board, food, games, prizes, and a tshirt for everyone. There is no charge for those under 3 years of age. Anyone needing assistance to cover the camp fees should inquire about a financial camp sponsors.
