Overview
Bangkok, the capital of Thailand, is symbolic of its skyscrapers and golden temples. The journey began at Krung Thep Apiwat Station in the north of Bangkok.
I took the sleeper train Special Express No. 37, which covers the longest distance in Thailand in over 18 hours, to Su-ngai Kolok in Narathiwat Province, the southernmost province of Thailand.
I walked across the Thai-Malaysian border and visited Kota Bharu, a city on the eastern side of the Malay Peninsula.
I went to Tumpat railway station,, near Kota Bharu, to ride Malaysia's only sleeper train. and I experienced a 16-hour overnight train journey from Tumpat to Johor Bahru.
From Johor Bahru to Singapore, I enjoyed a 5-minute train ride to the Woodlands checkpoint in Singapore on the world's shortest cross-border railway.
I stayed on the sleeper train for two nights, and arrived in Singapore from Bangkok in a total of three days.
I made this video mainly to let you see the scenery and atmosphere in a highly realistic way, so that you can feel like you're traveling.
I also hope that it will be useful to those who are considering traveling along this route.
