UPDATE 11/4/2021: New video on the current situation: [ Ссылка ]
UPDATE 9/2/2021: Went to service today and the guy at the service center was extremely nice and took time to go through all the issues with detail and sat in the car with me on a drive to hear the noises. So far, they are definitely willing to fix the issues. I'll post an updated video on the outcome once it's all fixed up (or if I get excuses from Tesla)
Please read: Please keep in mind that I have a service appointment scheduled with Tesla, and so far they're willing to resolve these issues. They have already ordered a new rim just based on the pictures I submitted. This is not to dis Tesla in anyway. I'll give Tesla a chance to resolve these issues and will update you guys here how they manage that. Like I said in the video, if I had to decide whether to get the car again, I'd absolutely do it the exact same way in a heartbeat. I'm only making this video hoping it's helpful for those waiting for their new Model S and know what to look for, and of course, for those that are interested.
While I'm absolutely IN LOVE with my new 2021 Tesla Model S Long Range (Refreshed), we gotta keep it real, and its build quality is definitely far from perfect. I've found quite a few quality issues including paint work, trims, interior rattling noise, squeaks, and other issues upon delivery of the vehicle.
Even though, these are relatively minor issues, they're something you wouldn't typically expect on a $20k+ car, much less a $100k car; so in this video, I would like to go through these issues.
Hopefully this is helpful, especially if you're waiting for the delivery of your upcoming Model S.
What do you guys think? Are these issues acceptable?
