(8 Jun 2016) India's Prime Minister focused on his country and the world's economy when speaking to a group of business and political leaders in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.
Narendra Modi pointed out that parts of the world are struggling economically.
But, he said, India is increasingly becoming an engine of growth that can effect economies around the world.
He also said it's important to encourage economic growth in democracies.
