South Africa's mineral resources are largely exported in their raw form, making it difficult to create jobs from processing the minerals -- a process known as beneficiation.
While government has released a strategy on beneficiation, a lot needs to be done before this becomes reality. In this episode of Interface, we discuss the pros and cons of processing mineral resources in SA.
