For the last number of years NUIG Medical Society have hosted an incredibly successful Shave or Dye event where Med students volunteer to have their luscious locks shaved or dyed, all for a great cause!
Now in its 4th year and having raised over €8,000 to date in aid of the Irish Cancer Society, the event keeps on growing. This year we managed to beat all our previous records for our Shave or Dye Event.
We had over 20 volunteers with 4 girls shaving their heads for charity and to top it all off the funds raised on the night exceeded €4,600 with all the money raised going to the Irish Cancer Society..!
