Cleveland weather will consist of a wintry mix by the end of the week.
January rolls on with little fanfare in terms of our local weather as high pressure remains in charge overnight after a sun-filled Monday. Temps will dip down near 30 tonight with increasing cloudiness.
A weak system glides through here tomorrow bringing clouds and a spotty PM shower. Otherwise temps are the biggest story with highs heading up near 40 tomorrow afternoon.
Attention then turns towards a more impactful storm system expected to develop in the central Plains Wednesday. This storm system will bring us a surge in temps into the mid and upper 40s Wednesday and into the 50s Thursday. Showers will move in late Wednesday with more organized rain moving in Thursday as the cold front approaches. Colder air then wraps in Thursday night into Friday changing our rain over to widespread snow Friday into Saturday with accumulating snow quite possible out of this one.
We remain cold to start next weekend, but much like the winter has gone so far, the cold doesn't last too long with highs rebounding into the 40s by early next week!
Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast.
TONIGHT | Increasing cloudiness with lows near 30.
TUESDAY | Variable clouds with isolated sprinkle/flurry. Near 40.
WEDNESDAY | Mainly cloudy with late day showers possible. Mild with highs in the mid to upper 40s.
THURSDAY | Rain moves in. Becoming windy and unseasonably mild. Low to mid 50s.
