While most people know of the atrocities the Jewish community suffered in World War 2, few know of the roughly 30,000 Jewish refugees who fled to and found relative safety in Japan-occupied Shanghai.
Honoring this historical bond, the AmericaChina Public Affairs Institute hosted a screening of the 2002 Israeli documentary “Shanghai Ghetto”.
