South Africa continues to see an increase in gender-based violence cases in country. A non-profit organisation "Gender-based Violence monitor South Africa" has come up with ways of keeping track of cases and bringing criminal justice in rural areas. The initiative aims at the increasing response to cases of GBV especially in disadvantaged areas like villages, and rural parts of South Africa.
