Sen. Bernie Sanders called for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza to raucous applause at the DNC Tuesday.

The senator called for the hostages to be released after demanding an end to the "horrific war in Gaza."

Sanders also called for the passage of Medicare for All.

Sanders recalled the dark days of COVID where people were "frightened" and turning to "their government for support."
