Innovations in Niobium technology are enabling the development of more advanced, high-power, and faster-charging batteries. The 2022 International Conference on Niobium-based Batteries: Towards a Net-Zero Europa was a one-day conference hosted by CBMM, the world leader in the production and commercialization of #Niobium products, on Dec 7th, 2022, at King’s College in Cambridge, bringing together an international line-up of speakers from industry and academia.
The program included a keynote address by Nobel Laureate and winner of the 2022 Charles Hatchett Award, Professor Stanley Whittingham FRS, Binghamton University, USA ‘What is the Role of Niobium in Nickel-rich Layered Oxide Cathodes for Lithium-ion Batteries?’.
